What we collect and why

• Account data (email address, display name, login credentials, sign-in provider) — to create and secure your account and provide the Service. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Text you submit for review and the style-sheet entries you save — to produce the review you asked for and apply your preferences across your manuscript. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Usage data (number and size of reviews, timestamps) — to apply plan limits, prevent abuse and improve the product. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, log data) — for security, fraud prevention and diagnostics. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Referral data (your referral code and anonymous visit counts) — to operate the share reward. Legal basis: contract.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails, if you opt in — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, not by us.

Automated review providers

Text you submit is sent to our AI model provider solely to generate your review. It is not used by us to train models, and it is not shared with other users.

Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors: hosting, database, authentication, AI review and analytics vendors.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting professionals.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

How long we keep it

Account and subscription records are kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. Submitted text and style-sheet entries are kept only as long as needed to provide the Service to you, and are deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls and row-level database security so that your text and account data are only accessible to you.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, to remember your style sheet, and to process payments securely. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but essential cookies are required for the Service to work.
